Gold-Prize Winner from the March 2025 Cocktail Competition of The Terrace Hotels and Moon Hotels & Resorts Now Served in Our Bars
The Terrace Hotels and affiliate company Moon Hotel & Resorts co-hosted their 2nd Cocktail Competition on March 7, 2025. Conceived as an opportunity for frontline service staff to hone their skills while celebrating Okinawa’s rich culinary and beverage culture, the event saw staff from eight hotels representing both brands showcase their talents and vie for Bronze, Silver, and Gold prizes. The first-place cocktail now features at the bars of five Terrace Hotels through March 31, 2026.

Spontané, or spontaneous, is a term seen more and more often in French culinary circles. In the same way that contemporary French cuisine reflects Japanese influences today, this awamori-based cocktail incorporates chartreuse verte, a rare herbal liqueur from France in a unison that brings the true natural flavors of the ingredients to the fore. The strong-bodied Koryu awamori and refined herbal notes of the chartreuse harmonize beautifully, while the natural sweetness of honey smooths out the composition, creating a perfectly balanced and harmonious drink.
